WA man bashed in home invasion

A WA man has been bashed and threatened with a machete, hammer and knife by three men in a terrifying home invasion.

Police say the men broke into the 36-year-old man's Mandurah home on Sunday evening and threatened him before ransacking the house and escaping with his wallet, phone, keys and silver Holden Commodore (registration SSV 547).

He was taken to hospital to be treated for facial injuries, including a broken nose.

All three men are described as being dark skinned.
