WA house fire causes $250,000 damage

A house fire north-east of Perth has caused $250,000 worth of damage after the roof collapsed, and the Arson Squad is now investigating how the blaze started.
Firefighters were called to the Northam home about 5am on Sunday and it took about one hour to extinguish the flames.
No one was in the house at the time but there are asbestos concerns, a Department of Fire and Emergency Services spokesman told AAP.
