WA govt blocks Auditor General on stadium
AAP
The West Australian Auditor General has been frustrated by a lack of disclosure by the state government, which has refused to provide information on the new Perth Stadium.
In a report handed down on Thursday, Colin Murphy said he had a "serious issue" with the Minister for Sport and Recreation Colin Holt refusing to hand over information regarding the state's deal with the stadium builder.
The Department of Sport and Recreation said the documents were subject to legal professional privilege, with the Auditor General's office not entitled to see such documents.
