WA driver cheesed off after Nacho arrest

Police dog Nacho has foiled a driver's attempt to run from a burning car after a crash in Perth.

The dog squad was stopped at traffic lights in suburban Kenwick on Saturday night when they saw a car suddenly brake and skid through the intersection.

The car crashed into another vehicle waiting on the other side of the intersection and burst into flames.

Nacho was sent into nearby bushland after the driver who allegedly caused the crash fled.

A 38-year-old man was charged after being taken to hospital for a check-up.
