WA Police have pulled over a driver who ran a red light "in a rush to get the kids Nando’s".
The incident happened about 6.45pm on Monday at an intersection in northern Perth suburb of Wanneroo.

The hungry driver was fined $300 and lost six demerit points.
WA Police said in a tweet even though Nando’s Chicken is good, it isn’t worth putting lives at risk.
"There is simply no excuse," they said.
