WA dad's charges upgraded after baby death

The Perth father of seven-month-old baby Lily Cosgrove, who died in hospital after suffering serious head injuries, has had charges against him upgraded.

Paul James Cosgrove, 23, appeared in Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday where the charge of causing aggravated grievous bodily harm was upgraded to manslaughter.

Cosgrove was remanded in custody to appear in Stirling Gardens Magistrates Court on October 28.
