WA criminal lawyer fights firearm charges

A Perth criminal lawyer is fighting weapons charges and will stand trial later this year.

Sanella Naumovski, who has run her own practice since March 2015, is charged with possessing a firearm and ammunition without a licence.

Naumovski was allegedly found with the Glock handgun and bullets in East Perth in December.

She pleaded not guilty to the two charges Perth Magistrates Court on Friday and a one-day trial was scheduled for November 27.
