WA chlorine spill brought under control

A chlorine spill that prompted the evacuation of residents near a water treatment plant in Perth's north has been contained and brought under control.
After the spill at the Wanneroo plant was reported on Wednesday morning, 37 firefighters and 25 other emergency personnel were sent to the scene.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services said 40 people who were evacuated from properties on Amos Road and Balcomore Gardens had now been allowed to return home.
