WA bushfire near Albany contained

A bushfire which threatened lives and homes in the town of Manypeaks, near Albany, in Western Australia's Great Southern region has been contained.
An advice message has been issued for those in the area as the fire, which burnt about 60ha, remains uncontrolled.
The blaze, which started near the intersection of Howie Rd and South Coast Hwy, is now stationary.
