A second boy has been charged after a 19-year-old man was knocked off his motorcycle by a rope strung across the road outside the Perth Train Station.

Lawson Mills was allegedly struck in the throat as he rode along Wellington Street and then hit on the head with a bottle about 11.30pm on December 17.

An 11-year-old boy has been charged with one count of acts or omissions causing the life, health or safety of a person to be endangered, and is scheduled to appear in Perth Children's Court on February 5.
