WA bank manager banned over $500k fraud
AAP
A former Westpac bank manager in Perth who made unauthorised withdrawals totalling $515,000 has been banned from providing financial services.
Between December 2013 and March last year, Darren Jason Arnold used his position as a bank manager in Northbridge to withdraw money from several bank accounts in a friend's name.
The Australian Securities and Investments Commission has permanently banned Arnold from providing financial services following his conviction and sentencing on charges of gaining benefit by fraud and nine counts of stealing as a servant.
