Two saltwater crocodiles caught in Broome in one day

Two saltwater crocodiles have been captured and removed from the township of Broome in Western Australia today.
Department of Parks and Wildlife officers captured an aggressive three-metre crocodile at Broome's popular Cable Beach early this morning.
They used a harpoon a catch the crocodile.
The officers then caught a two-metre crocodile at the tidal overflow area at Broome Airport this afternoon.
The smaller animal was emaciated and had injuries believed to be from a crocodile attack, the Department advised.
Both animals are now at the Malcolm Douglas Crocodile Park in Broome.
Cable Beach had been closed since Sunday, when the larger crocodile was first spotted.
