Total fire ban for parts of WA

A total fire ban has been declared for parts of Western Australia's Midwest Gascoyne region on Thursday.

Residents in Greater Geraldton will be affected by the ban which also includes the Chapman Valley, Northampton, Mingenew and Morawa shires.

A severe fire danger warning has also been issued for central and southern parts of the Interior region.

Ngaanyatjarrraku shire and parts of the Laverton, Menzies and Wiluna shires are also affected.
