Tiny Pinder faces sex assault charge

Former Wildcats basketballer Kendal "Tiny" Pinder has appeared in a West Australian court via video link from prison to face historic sex assault charges.
Pinder, 59, was charged earlier this month, with police alleging he sexually assaulted an 18-year-old woman who visited him at a Melville residence in January 1987.
He was aged 30 at the time.

The former Harlem Globetrotter was remanded in custody after appearing in Fremantle Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
He will face the same court again on July 7, then Perth Magistrates Court on August 26.
