Three youths charged over WA burglary

Three teenagers have been charged over the violent burglary of an 87-year-old man in his home in Perth's southeastern suburbs.

The man was asleep in his Cannington home on Tuesday afternoon when three people broke in and demanded money.

One of the offenders was armed with a knife, police say.

Two boys, aged 15, and a 14-year-old boy will appear in Perth Children's Court later on Thursday on charges including aggravated burglary, deprivation of liberty and aggravated armed robbery.
