Three-week party for WA's Elizabeth Quay
AAP
The West Australian government plans a three-week celebration for the opening of Elizabeth Quay, including laser shows and night markets.
Planning Minister John Day is encouraging locals to take part in celebrating the opening of Perth's newest precinct, with features including an outdoor rollerskating rink, bars and ticketed performances as part of the Perth International Arts Festival.
"We don't expect everyone will be able to come on the opening night or weekend so we have organised for the celebrations to take place over three weeks," Mr Day said.
