Stash of meth and cash seized in Perth CBD
Two kilograms of methylamphetamine and more than $44,000 in cash have been seized from a central Perth hotel room by the Organised Crime Squad.
Police searched a St George's Terrace hotel room in the early hours of Thursday, while three other properties were targeted in Dianella, Roelands and Bunbury, resulting in the arrest of four men.
The search of the Roelands property allegedly uncovered a clandestine drug laboratory, while a small quantity of meth, more than $7000 in cash and martial arts weapons were seized from the Dianella residence.
A 42-year-old man and 35-year-old man faced the Perth Magistrates Court on Thursday and were remanded in custody to face court again next week.
A 51-year-old South Bunbury man and a 50-year-old Roelands man were charged with manufacturing a prohibited drug and will appear in the Bunbury Magistrates Court on January 7 next year.
A police spokeswoman said investigations are continuing, with further charges expected to be laid.
