Sorrow after NZ men die in WA crash

The grieving fiancee of one of three young New Zealand men who died on a remote, unsealed road in Western Australia has shared the plans they had for the future.

Dylan Sherriff and Jeremy Vergeer, who announced his engagement to Lauren Withers earlier this month, died after their ute rolled over on the Lake King-Norseman Road in the Wheatbelt region some time on Friday night or Saturday morning.

It's understood the distraught driver, Kadin Wallace, took his own life before help arrived.

Ms Withers expressed her sorrow on Facebook.

"We talked about the future with so much happiness and excitement and I will hold onto that feeling forever.

"2016 was going to be the best year for us, buying our first home, getting married and moving to NZ to start our family.

"We really were both so unbelievably happy.

"I will never know why you decided to get in the car that night but I hope one day you will be able to tell me why."

It is believed all three men, aged 24 and 25, worked on farms in the Cascade area near Esperance, had been on a hunting trip and were not wearing seat belts.

Police are preparing a report for the coroner.
