Sleeping woman attacked in Perth home

A 30-year-old woman has allegedly been indecently assaulted while sleeping in her Perth home.

Police say the woman woke up to find a man leaning over her at her Herdsman Parade home in Wembley about 12.30am on Sunday.

He allegedly indecently assaulted her, but she managed to free herself and call out, then the man ran away from the unit through the rear door.

The man is described as aged between 40 and 50, wearing blue pants, a dark jumper with a white strip across the front, white shoes and a dark beanie.

Anyone with information about the aggravated home burglary, including dash-cam or CCTV footage of the area between midnight and 1am, is asked to contact Crime Stoppers.
