Sixth man charged with WA prisoner murder

A sixth prisoner has been charged with murdering a fellow inmate in Western Australia.

Alf Deon Eades, 46, was found injured in his cell at Hakea Prison on February 26.

He was rushed to Royal Perth Hospital but died a fortnight later.

Police have now charged a 21-year-old man with murder and he will face Armadale Magistrates Court later on Thursday.

They previously charged a 23-year-old man, two 22-year-old men, a 20-year-old man and another 21-year-old man with the same offence.
