Shark warning over whale carcass in WA

A shark warning has been issued after a whale carcass was spotted at a beach in Western Australia's south, but it is unknown when the animal will be removed.
The whale carcass was found on Monday afternoon at Boranup Beach, about three kilometres north of the Hamelin Bay boat ramp, in the Shire of Augusta-Margaret River.
"It is possible the decomposing carcass will act as an attractant that could lead to sharks coming close into shore along this stretch of coast," authorities warn.
