AAP
A shark has been sighted close the shore of a Perth beach where children were having a swimming lesson.
Leighton Beach was closed after 8am on Thursday when surf lifesavers spotted the two metre shark about 150 metres from the surf club, as it swam south towards Fremantle.
The beach was reopened an hour later, with no further sightings of the shark.
