Severe storms forecast for parts of WA
AAP
Severe thunderstorms have prompted an emergency warning in Western Australia.
Residents northwest of a line from Wooramel Roadhouse to Paraburdoo to Port Hedland should prepare for storms forecast to hit Saturday afternoon and evening.
"This is typical weather for this time of year but could damage homes and make travel dangerous," the Department of Fire and Emergency Services says.
