Severe fire danger warning for parts of WA
AAP
A severe fire danger rating has been forecast for Western Australia's Goldfields, Gascoyne and Pilbara region.
The warning comes as very hot, dry and windy conditions are set to take over parts of the state on Monday, with the mercury reaching more than 40 degrees in some towns.
People are urged to keep up to date with bushfire information and not to wait for a warning before they act.

If a fire starts and takes hold, it will be unpredictable, move very fast and be difficult for firefighters to bring under control.
