Severe fire danger is forecast for a wide area of inland Western Australia today.
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services warns any bushfire activity may become become very hard to control in hot, windy conditions predicted for the Eucla, Goldfields and inland parts of the Gascoyne.

Residents are advised to activate their bushfire safety plans and, if not prepared to the highest level, to leave for a safer location as early as possible.
