A dog that was rushed to a West Australian veterinarian clinic with extensive burns is in a stable condition as the investigation into the incident continues.
Neighbours found the animal on Gertrude Street in Geraldton, in the state's Mid West region, with burns to its belly, face, legs and paws.
The dog was taken to a vet clinic and has been sedated. It remains in a stable condition, under observation, the RSPCA says.
