Roger Federer and Serena Williams confirmed for Perth Hopman Cup

Serena Williams and Roger Federer will face off against each other on the court for the first time ever at the 2019 Perth Hopman Cup.

Arguably the two greatest tennis players on earth are scheduled to play in a mix doubles match between Switzerland and the USA on January 1.

Between them they have 43 Grand Slam titles.

Federer will be joined by Belinda Bencic and fellow American, Frances Tiafoe, will team up with Williams.

Australia’s top ranked player, Ash Barty, will represent Australia in the tournament.

The Hopman Cup will be broadcast on Channel 9 from December 29th.

More than 100,000 people are expected to snap up tickets for the event at the RAC Arena.
