Rinehart expands Wagyu cattle herd

Gina Rinehart's Hancock Prospecting continues to expand its livestock portfolio with the purchase of 1500 fullblood Wagyu cattle, including from award-winning industry pioneer David Blackmore.
The acquisition adds top quality genetics to Hancock's existing Wagyu herd, with breeders to be homed on the company's NSW cattle properties near Dubbo, while the progeny will graze on its Queensland pasture.
The beef is destined for both premium export markets and domestic tables.
