Man suffers 'minor injuries' in shark attack off WA coast

A man has been bitten by a shark off Western Australia's southern coast.

A Fisheries spokesman says the victim has been taken to Albany Hospital.

The spokesman said the department was still gathering details about Friday's attack.

A Health Department spokesman said it understood the man's injuries were minor.
