Rain weakens WA bushfire threat

A bushfire burning in Western Australia's south is no longer threatening lives and homes.
Some overnight rain has seen the alert level downgraded to an advice for Alexander Bay in the Shire of Esperance, but the Department of Fire and Emergency Services warns there is still a lot of smoke in the area.
The blaze was sparked by lightning on Sunday afternoon.
