Policeman's thumb broken in WA arrest

A policeman's thumb has been broken while he was arresting a drunk and violent man on a WA foreshore.
The officer was arresting the man in Mandurah on Friday evening when he became aggressive.
The man has not yet been charged and inquiries are continuing.
