Police dog sniffs out $140,000 in cash

An alert police dog has sniffed out more than $140,000 in cash in a suitcase at Perth airport.
Federal police were conducting an operation at the domestic terminal on Monday when the currency and drug detection dog indicated towards the man's suitcase.
When the luggage was searched, officers allegedly found $140,950 in cash.

A 36-year-old Adelaide man has been charged with dealing in money reasonably suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
He faces a maximum penalty of three years' jail and/or a $30,600 fine.
