Pokemon catcher falls into Swan River

A man fell into Perth's Swan River while attempting to catch a Pokemon, police say.

The man was leaning over Barrack Street Jetty at 12.45am on Monday when he fell into the water, but was pulled out by a security officer who saw the early morning plunge.

When police arrived, he told them he had leaned over the jetty in a bid to catch a Pokemon.
