AAP
A man has been attacked in a home invasion in Western Australia's Pilbara region, suffering serious injuries to his face, neck and scalp.
While the victim's throat was reportedly slashed, police would only confirm a weapon had been used as investigations are ongoing.
Paramedics were called to the Peg's Creek property around 10.20pm on Saturday and took the man to Nickol Bay Hospital for treatment, where he is in a stable condition.
