Perth woman seriously hurt in hit-and-run

A 19-year-old woman is in a serious condition in hospital after a hit and run in the Perth suburb of Subiaco.

The woman was struck on Thomas Street on Wednesday night, by a 27-year-old man who fled the scene but later handed himself into police.

Police say the driver has been interviewed and the investigation is ongoing.
