Perth woman's death treated as suspicious

A woman's body has been found in a Perth unit and police are treating her death as suspicious.

Homicide squad detectives and forensics officers began examining the unit on Kathleen Avenue in Maylands after the discovery on Tuesday afternoon.

"At this stage, it is being treated as suspicious," a police spokeswoman told AAP.
