A Perth woman has suffered suspected fractures after the wall of a heritage-listed building collapsed on top of her car and trapped her.

Fire crews cut open the passenger side door to free the woman, who's aged in her 30s, before she was taken to Royal Perth Hospital.

The collapse of the Matilda Bay Brewery Company wall crushed the driver's side, a witness told ABC radio.

The building on Stirling Highway in North Fremantle was sold to developers in 2014.

Storms and high winds have buffeted Perth over the past 24 hours with wind gusts in some areas reaching 100km/h.
