A woman has appeared in court charged with interfering with the corpse of her 76-year-old mother, whose body was found in a back yard.

Helen Levina, from South Guildford, was charged with interfering with the corpse of Ella Victoria Hromaya to hinder an inquiry.

Ms Hromaya's 21-year-old granddaughter, who lived at the house with her mother and grandmother, discovered the body after she noticed a smell and found a skull on Wednesday.
