Perth residents still being exposed to toxic chemicals days after fire
Residents in Perth's south east are demanding answers as they continue to be exposed to toxic chemicals, following a fire at a local recycling plant.
The blaze broke out at a lithium battery recycling facility in Maddington on Sunday, sparking a hazmat warning for the area, which is still in place.
"They don't know the chemicals they don't know the fallout, the extent of the fire," local Katrina Kettley told 9News.

"I understand that's a new product and a new issue but we should have had some control over that, it shouldn't have.
"People are suffering now, and people are being told just to go to the GP, well, what do we tell the doctor to test us for?"
The Health Department says, based on current results, serious health impacts aren't expected.
If residents are experiencing symptoms, it's recommended to shelter indoors and close windows.
