An eight-week-old puppy has been revived by fire fighters after it was found trapped inside a burning home in Perth’s eastern suburbs.

Emergency crews were called to the Ashley Avenue residence in Kewdale around 8.10 this morning where it took 30 minutes to extinguish the blaze.

Firefighters found the gorgeous black Staffy named Snoopy trapped and unconscious inside the burning house.

Thankfully, Snoopy was rescued and resuscitated with oxygen.

Snoopy’s owners are now considering changing its name to Lucky.

A woman has been taken into custody after the incident that is estimated to have cost $300,000 in damages.

Police have deemed the blaze to be suspicious and continue to investigate into its cause.
