Perth pair charged over a string of crimes

Two people who have evaded police for about three months are facing almost 50 charges linked to a series of robberies, assaults, fraud and stealing offences in Western Australia.

The pair were arrested in Greenfields, south of Perth, on Monday afternoon after a tip-off from the public.

The 25-year-old man has been charged with 45 offences including 12 counts of stealing, eight counts of aggravated burglary, six counts of reckless driving and two counts of aggravated assault occasioning bodily harm.

The 29-year-old woman has been charged with possession of methylamphetamine and two counts of stealing a motor vehicle.
