Perth man killed trying to flag down help
AAP
A man has been killed in an apparent hit-and-run after he tried to flag down a car when his ute became bogged on the side of a Perth road.
The 47-year-old was discovered near his car on the side of Beechboro Road North, near Cullacabardee, on Wednesday night.
Police gave the man first aid before paramedics arrived but he died at the scene.

They say his injuries were consistent with being hit by a car and that the driver would have realised the car had collided with someone. The vehicle would have also suffered some damage.
