Perth man, 76, gets car impounded

A 76-year-old Perth man has had his car impounded after been nabbed allegedly driving 65km/h above the speed limit.
The Hilton man was stopped in Mardie in the Pilbara region on Thursday, after police allege the man was driving 165km/h in a 100km/h zone.
His car has been surrendered and will be impounded for 28 days, while the man is due to appear in court over the matter.
