Perth driver charged after police chase

A Perth driver who allegedly led police on a chase through several suburbs in a stolen car has been charged over a string of burglaries and car thefts.
The man, 45, from Balga, was to appear before the Perth Magistrates Court on Saturday charged with offences including two counts of vehicle theft, five counts of stealing, reckless driving and drug charges.
His arrest follows several recent burglaries at commercial properties and thefts of vehicles in the northwest metropolitan district.
