Cyclist injured after collision with vehicle

A cyclist is in hospital after he collided with a car in Perth this morning.

Police say the 29-year-old man went through a red light and crashed into the car on Powis Street, before the Mitchell Freeway entry at about 8am.

He was taken to Royal Perth Hospital under priority conditions reportedly with head injuries.

There are reports the cyclist was not wearing a helmet.
