Store targeted in suspected arson attack for the second time
Police are still investigating. 9news
A Perth clothing store has been targeted in a suspected arson attack for the second time this year.
Emergency crews were called to the Hay St, Subiaco business named ‘Kingdom’ about 2am.
It took firefighters around half an hour to extinguish the blaze, which they managed to contain before it spread to a barber shop and home goods store next door.
Police are treating the fire as suspicious and said it’s not the first time the shop has been targeted - in April the retail store was doused in petrol but firefighters washed it off before it set alight.
The arson squad is now investigating in an effort to determine the exact cause of the fire and who may be responsible.
Anyone with information should call police.
