Passenger dies in WA crash

A car has slammed into a tree in Western Australia's Wheatbelt region, killing a passenger and leaving the driver seriously injured.
The car veered off the Bindoon-Moora Road in Gillingarra about 2am on Sunday and hit a tree.
The passenger died at the scene, while the driver was badly injured in the crash.

He was airlifted to Royal Perth Hospital.
