Notorious pedophile Dragon loses WA appeal

Notorious paedophile Bradley Pen Dragon has failed in his bid to reduce his latest jail term.

Dragon, who has spent most of the past 26 years behind bars including 13 years in a Thai jail for sexually abusing children, was in January sentenced to four years and four months in a WA prison.

That sentence was for accessing child pornography at an internet cafe, two days after he was released from jail for attempting to rob a woman in front of her baby while brandishing a knife.

He sought leave to appeal, arguing two grounds including a manifestly excessive sentence, but both were rejected on Wednesday.

The WA Court of Appeal judges found they had no reasonable prospect of success.
