Not guilty plea over fatal Perth cruise
A Perth charter boat company and its owner have pleaded not guilty to alcohol-related charges stemming from a cruise on which a man allegedly fell overboard and drowned.
Mortgage broker Damien Mills was among more than 30 guests on board the vessel for an event organised by non-bank lender The Pepper Group on October 31 last year.
The 35-year-old was found the next day floating about 5.5km off Leighton Beach.
Dolphin Dive Centre Fremantle pleaded not guilty in the Perth Magistrates Court on Tuesday to allowing an unlicensed premise to be used.
Sole director Daniel Peter Lippiatt also pleaded not guilty to the same charge as well as selling liquor without a license or permit.
A three-day hearing will be held next month.
