Woman charged with assaulting 13-year-old junior football umpire

A 46-year-old Perth woman has been charged with assaulting a 13-year-old umpire at an Australian Rules junior football match.
The woman has been summonsed to appear in Armadale Magistrates Court at a later date.
The incident is alleged to have happened at a match in Thornlie on May 4.

The alleged attack was captured on video. 9news
Police say they are analysing footage of the incident with a view to possibly laying disorderly conduct charges against others involved.
They have also asked for any witnesses to come forward, especially anyone with video.
